As soon as we receive your application, we will send you a confirmation. In the Human Resources department, we make a first review of your application. While doing so, we check the completeness of your documents. We may call you to clarify eventual questions. We will then forward your application to the specialist department for an expert review. If we are convinced, we will send you an invitation to a personal interview. If the interview goes well, we will meet again on a joint Get-To-Know-Day at CAC. In most cases, we make a decision after that. Occasionally, a further meeting might take place. If we establish that it is a fit for both parties, you will receive a written job offer. If you accept our offer, we will inform our works council. After they have given their approval, we will send you your employment contract and look forward to our journey together.

Within the framework of your application, you may give us your consent to consider your documents for other open positions in the company. We will ask for your consent in our application form.

If there is currently no suitable vacancy, but your application is of interest to us, we will include you in our applicant pool based on your consent. If we are looking for someone for a new opening, we search our applicant pool first for suitable candidates. You may revoke your consent at any time.

Yes. CAC offers mandatory internships as well as voluntary internships within the scope of studies or during school time. We are a company for comprehensive engineering services. Unfortunately, we cannot offer pre-study internships for every engineering discipline. We will be happy to discuss specific requirements for your pre-study internship by phone in advance.

Yes, you are welcome to do so. If you are interested in a practice-related student research project or thesis, please let us know and apply. You should state the period and duration, subject area and relevant information on the requirements of your university. If you already have an idea for your topic, you are also welcome to share it with us.

You should send us your application as early as possible, as our capacities for this are limited.

No, there are not. You can start the trainee program at any time - provided that vacancies are available.

We usually need a maximum of three weeks from receipt of your application to make an initial decision. We take every effort to ensure that the process continues as quickly as possible. However, we ask for your understanding that situational factors can sometimes change our schedule a bit. We will always keep you informed about the current evaluation status of your application.

We will explain to you what plant engineering exactly means in our company, what tasks await you and what makes the CAC family special. Because of the current situation, we prefer to conduct interviews by video conference at the moment.
